2/ Spring skiing: a lighter outfit
Warmer temperatures don't mean warmth, so don't forget to cover up in the spring. The mornings are very cool but the afternoons can be relatively mild, so you will need to find the balance to feel comfortable all day long.
The simplest advice: keep a three-layer system but with lighter materials.
Both the first and second layers come in different thicknesses or materials, which will be more or less warm. And for the third layer, swap your down or padded jacket for a simple, unlined jacket that will simply protect you from the high altitude wind or showers, frequent at this time.
The gloves are also thinner and cooler for this season, and the helmet liner as well as the ear pads can be removed. So comfort gained to enjoy those magnificent spring skiing days!
