Step by step guide to mounting crampons

1/ To avoid getting into difficulty when attaching them, plan ahead and put them on before reaching the tricky part of the slope.
2/ Remove your splitboard.
3/ Attach the crampons to the middle of your splitboard by sliding them into the inserts, under the bindings, designed for this purpose.
3/ Put your skis back on.

The crampons will lift as you walk uphill and then anchor in the snow as you put your heel down, preventing you from sliding back.

To remove them, you just have to slide them in the opposite direction:nothing could be simpler!
